Danny is an actor, singer/songwriter, public speaker, and writer. Soap fans know him as “Gil” on The Young & The Restless, and YouTube lists his views at over 250 million. He has been the national spokesman for numerous brands including Jeep, Chrysler, Rolaids, Salonpas, 5 Hour Energy, and Pioneer. His campaign for Nordnet went viral and according to Adweek and Good Morning America, set the trend in advertising for the last 5 years, being emulated by numerous other brands, including Esurance with Dennis Quaid. He has also been in over 400 commercial campaigns.
Danny did 3 voices in the Oscar/Golden Globe/BAFTA winning Spiderman Into The Spiderverse, played “Thanos” from The Avengers in Disney/Marvel’s “What If, An ImmersiveExperience” (winning the 2024 PrimeTime Emmy and nominating Danny for the 2024 Sovas Voice Arts Award “Best Video Game Voice”). Danny’s extensive voice over career also earned him a nomination for the 2024 Sovas’ highest prize, “Body Of Work” (Best voice over artist in the world). He is starring in several major animation feature films in theaters and on Netflix: as “Lapin” in the Sony/Lionsgate/NWave film Chickenhare & The Hamster Of Darkness (#1 on Netflix), as “Bantor” and “Korp” in Latte & The Magic Waterstone (also #1 on Netflix), and in Foodiverse (in which he plays 7 principal characters). He also played the villain role of “Dragon” in The Inseperables from Oscar nominated writers of Toy Story, and was the long running voice of SlingTV. He voiced the role of “Bogota” for Money Heist (La Casa De Papel), Netflix’s #1 blockbuster non-English series, drawing close to a billion viewers worldwide and gaining the acclaim of numerous news organizations, including The New York Times and Variety. Danny also voices over 100 shows for Netflix, HBO, Disney, Amazon, and Apple TV.
Danny starred as Nelson Stone in the 2023 TV series Scarlett alongside Ed Asner(RIP), Tom Sizemore, Patrick Warburton, Mike Starr, Brian Doyle Murray, Taja VSimpson, and Bob Gunton. He also has starring and supporting roles in numerous films and TV shows, including the acclaimed “Hacks” (2025), The Upshaws with Wanda Sykes, Mancha with Marlene Forte & Marise Alvarez (Obi Wan Kenobi), and The Day You Found Me with Gary Cairns.
As a singer, Danny’s voice can be heard on recordings behind Celine Dion, Brian McKnight, John Legend, Patti LaBelle, Natalie Cole, The Backstreet Boys, Joss Stone, Gavin Degraw, and Wyclef Jean. He has also performed on-stage with Twila Paris, Kathy Mattea, John Tesh, Steven Bishop, and John Debney. Danny sang the theme song to Steven Bochco’s “City of Angels” with composer Mike Post, has voiced over 30 characters for popular video games, and can be heard regularly on numerous musical and animation recordings. As a singer and a pianist, he spent 3 years leading the praise band at the Crystal Cathedral, appearing regularly on “The Hour of Power”. He is also a highly sought after speaker at conferences, concerts, and special events.
Danny grew up traveling the country with his family (his dad was a public speaker), living in trailers and being home schooled with his siblings (all 7 siblings were born in a different state, and have now produced 24 nieces and nephew). By the time he was 16, when he lost his father to brain cancer, he had traveled extensively for 160 months, through 48 states. Always an imaginative child, Danny became passionate about the effective power that art, communication, and the utilization of the imagination could have on the world.
